Give this year's Christmas dinner a little more room. At Thoresta Herrgård we lay out a traditional manor julbord — the Swedish Christmas buffet — where you can relax and let the evening take its time, without anyone having to stand in the kitchen.
Whether you are a small family or a larger party of friends, we will find a table that suits you. Come for lunch or dinner — and stay the night to wake up to our breakfast buffet.

Thoresta Herrgård in Advent is something quite special. Candles burn, the cold bites outside and indoors it smells of cinnamon and spruce. It is a setting that turns the Christmas buffet into something more than just a meal.

The Christmas buffet is served Tuesday to Saturday, 27 November – 22 December 2026. Closed Sundays and Mondays.
We welcome parties from 2 up to around 100 guests. Get in touch and tell us about your group.

Yes, state your preferred date in the enquiry. We serve the Christmas buffet Tuesday to Saturday. Please give an alternative date in case your first choice is fully booked.

Yes, families with children are very welcome. Let us know the children's ages when booking so we can arrange seating and, if needed, a children's menu.
Yes — we recommend it. With an overnight stay you can forget about transport and enjoy the evening to the full. We have 41 rooms and serve a breakfast buffet the next morning. The "Christmas Buffet & Overnight Stay" package can be booked directly online above, from 1,990 SEK per person.
Yes, tell us the number of guests when you book and we will set a suitable table. For larger parties (30+) we can look at separate areas of the Magasinet building.
