Thoresta Herrgård offers one of the most beautiful and complete wedding venues in Sweden — a historic manor estate on the shores of Lake Mälaren, just 35 minutes from Stockholm. Our experienced wedding team will guide you through every detail, from first enquiry to the final dance.

We offer three carefully crafted packages — Silver, Gold and Diamond — each designed to give you and your guests an exceptional experience. All packages include a no-venue-hire-fee policy: the price you see covers the full celebration.

The Ceremony

A ceremony to remember

Exchange your vows in the manor park or on the estate terrace overlooking Lake Mälaren — one of the most romantic settings in the Stockholm region. Our ceremony setup includes a decorated aisle, chairs for your guests and a dedicated coordinator to ensure everything runs perfectly.

Outdoor ceremonies are available from May through September. An indoor alternative is always available for any weather situation.

How many guests can you accommodate? +
All wedding packages require a minimum of 50 guests. The maximum capacity for a seated dinner is approximately 100 guests in our Magasinet hall. For larger celebrations, please contact us to discuss custom arrangements.
Can we hold the ceremony at Thoresta? +
Yes. We offer outdoor ceremonies in the manor park or on the terrace overlooking Lake Mälaren, available May through September for 4,500 SEK. An indoor ceremony option is always available as an alternative. Our coordinator will help you plan every detail.
Can we customise the menu? +
Absolutely. Our kitchen team creates seasonal menus in close dialogue with each couple. We are happy to accommodate dietary requirements, food allergies and personal preferences. Menu tastings are available in advance of the wedding date.
How far in advance should we book? +
Saturday dates between May and September are our most popular and typically book 12 to 18 months in advance. Weekday and off-season dates often have more availability. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible to secure your preferred date.
What is included in the package price? +
All wedding packages include the celebration venue, white linen and tableware, dedicated service staff throughout the evening, the full bar all evening, and the dance floor. There is no separate venue hire fee — everything is included in the per-person package price. Accommodation is priced separately.
